GARDEN CITY–Wheatland Electric Cooperative, Inc. is inviting the local community to the Garden City Wind baseball game at Clint Lightner Field on Wednesday, July 27.
The first 50 attendees will receive free admission to the sponsored game.
In addition, Wheatland will be grilling free hamburgers and hot dogs for the first 200 attendees, first-come first-served, beginning at 5:30 PM at Clint Lightner, 706 E. Maple.
Come tailgate with us, help us cheer on the Wind, and fill the stands with local fans.
The Wind will play host to the Santa Fe Fuego. The first pitch will be thrown out by Wheatland Electric CEO/General Manager Bruce W. Mueller.
Game begins at 6:35 PM. General admission is $8.
Both teams are part of the Pecos League of Professional Baseball Clubs, founded in 2010, and an independent league which operates in cities throughout California, New Mexico, southern Arizona, Kansas, west Texas, and Colorado.
