GREAT BEND–Wheatland Electric Cooperative, Inc. is inviting the local community to the Great Bend Bat Cats baseball game at Al Burns Memorial Field on June 15.

Wheatland will be grilling free hamburgers and hot dogs for the first 200 attendees, first-come first-served, beginning at 6 PM. Dollar beer will also be available.

Gates open at 6:30 PM and admission is free.

Help us cheer on this semi-professional team and fill the stands with local fans. The Bat Cats will be playing host to the Newton Rebels during the June 15 home game.

Both teams are part of the Sunflower Collegiate League (SCL), a not for profit 501(c)3 summer collegiate baseball league made up of 10 independently owned teams in south central Kansas.
